The action of the comic is chaotic and hard to catch up, which is a pity since some of the drawing are quite good (the inspector looks grand). Aftertaste of potential being wasted, I'd say.
It's too early to tell whether I like it or not. I couldn't work out what the point was suppose to be other than slapstick comedy. I'll have to wait for more of it to come out and make some sense before deciding whether I like it or not. I like the artwork. It's like something I could do if I had any talent. Girl Genius is pure gaslamp fantasy. Another nice comic set in a Victorian style era is Phoenix Requiem
