I completed the Kna Tha quest, gave her the star. she then got mad and said she would not train me until I had more practice and 1000 gold pieces. I am at level 5 expert for throwing...I have much more than 1000 gold...and yet when I click on her she just says "hi" or something and there is no option for master training. I've been questing around with a throwing weapon for awhile and gone up several levels. whats going on???
Hmmm... sounds like a new bug  You'd better reload your previous savegame. Sometimes, it fixes the problem. If it doesn't... Er... I dunno. Maybe other ppl who done the quest will help you (i never did that quest)
I'm not sure what your problem could be other than (a) a bug, or (b) maybe you didn't follow the right dialogue options prior to getting the quest to retrieve Azram's Star. When you talked to her the first time, did she agree to train you in exchange for the star? If not, then you might have to reload and do it again. Although, I didn't think it was possible to even get the quest without agreeing to the training... It doesn't really matter anyway. Just keep the star. Screw her. The bonus you get for throwing mastery is no penalty to hit for distance, right? Well, if you have a full bar's worth of training and expertise, then you're not going to miss much anyway.
It's not a bug. Clarissa is a lady you need to treat with respect. If your throwing skill is not high enough to receive Master training when you initially return the Star to her, she will tell you essentially to come back when you have more skill. If, when she says that, you foolishly back-chat her and demand she trains you anyway, she'll also add another 1000 on the fee. If you continue to back chat her, she may not train you at all, or may even attack you. [ This Message was edited by: Sheriff Fatman on 2001-12-04 13:34 ]
I don't know what it is, but she must have an allergic reaction to the Star, because every time I hand it to her she keels over... *laughs*
Are you implying that I would kill someone? I can't believe the nerve. It's not my fault she can't catch!
Sorry you're right...it seems that throwing is a one-way street in the game...whatever happened to catching the grenades thrown at you, and then throwing them back? Honestly...
