I love how people say "... what?" like someone was going to try to launch a rebuttal of their opinion.

I picked ice age, figured it would be the most pleasant climate, at least for me.

Let me guess without checking, he's posted a few times in the game discussion threads but didn't think to introduce himself because he only just poked his head into GD and happened to find a topic with a funny sounding title?

What's even more fun is when somebody abuses "whom".

lol, I didn't even mean to sound like a dick if I did, I just thought it was funny how he phrased it. Word to the as-yet-unwise, nothing around here needs justification, especially not random opinions.

A quantum vacuum collapse would be a pretty way to go.

Or some slower thing. Like a slight change in one physical constant that turns blood in humans into some horrible acid. Or something like that.

It could be something simple, like our atmosphere spontaneously increasing in volume while remaining at a constant mass. The sudden decrease in pressure would cause gasses in our bodies to expand, possibly exploding all of us.

Or, we could have something really cool, like what happens in "Reign of Fire". Only that here, the dragons would be invincible. So cool to be killed by a dragon!

Aw, c'mon, that's not the same thing. If you get flamed by a dragon, you won't even notice it 'til your up there with the angels.

Your troll fails on the sole grounds that it's metric.

What's the deal with you and the Imperial system Blinky? Why does 12 have to be the magic number? Why can't 10 be? I mean our counting system has 10 digits, it makes sense.

c'mon, just look at the names of the systems. Imperial beats out Metric any day in the coolness department.
