I'm really high at the moment and have an unrelenting urge to play chess. I believe that a HoL chess tournament is just what this place needs.
If it gets to, or more than 8 Votes positive I will be happy 2 arrange it.

Go for it. I'd be happy to watch but too lazy to play.

How do we do it? Online flash based? Sending each other notations of moves?

Well as much as I would like to pay for a trip for each of you that will eventually lead you to my dark mysterious sex castle (ever wondered what happend to madalane mccain?), I'm afraid in the current financial climate, it would just not be cost efficient. As such, yes some form of online based solution would be best. Be it Skype or just a chess website. I would be happy to play via notations of movement but I fear that would take to long and might hinder performance. Not that I have really played much chess before.

I suggest posting screenshots here, with the moves outlined as well. Playing the game somewhere else and then saying who won kinda defeats the point of making a thread about the whole thing anyway.

There are lots of free chessboard visualizers on the web.
