I think the character limit is too short. I can't put hardly anything in my signature, do to the fact that I already have a URL there that I want to keep. Could it possibly be raised to something like 500 or 1000? People already have huge signatures what with pictures and spaces and things.

Yeah, I agree. I think there should be more room for other stuff, so you can have room for your links. :)

Well, that might be nice... but I absolutely refuse if Sleek is going to unleash more of his Chris Farley gifs on us!

Do you really need to have a large signature?

I think the size that it's on right now is good enough, we don't want people have really large signatures that are very pointless and not related to anything about Troika or anything....

Plus, I hardly look at signatures...if there is a picture, I may look at the picture, but I won't look at the text underneath...you only need either a picture...or some form of text...you don't need both!

If they did that, everyone would have a signature a page long. And Chaosthehobo agrees, Chaosthehobo doesn't want to see Sleek's Chris Farley gifts!

I have to side with Quethim here. A signature consisting of 1000 characters would be a bit too big I believe. Few people would bother to read through it anyway, and it would quickly get rather annoying to scroll through threads if everyone had such large sigs. Besides, it looks pretty damn retarded if your signature is larger than your post content.

No, short, clever, imaginative signatures is the melody. Not that I've ever succeeded bringin one up myself...

I can make a sig that is really big with the current sig limit, even without images. In fact, I did so once, and wound up with a beautiful avatar for a little while.
The char limit really doesn't have much affect on the size. I could place a huge image in mine and have it take up drastically fewer characters.

I agree with short sigs, who would really read all of the large sigs all of the time anyway?
