I wanted to celebrate this with you hairy lot because... I've finally run out of ideas of what to get him for our eight year anniversary.

Bear in mind, I have given him things like an electric shaver kit, a zombie apocalypse list, a portable dvd player, and other such next-to-useless things for birthdays and Christmas and stuff.

And yes, more private gifts have been given and enjoyed.

Also, we're going on a type of gap year where we are visiting countries and cities of our dreams... so I have actually considered getting him a smartphone as well. BUT WHICH ONE??

 

Do you have a sister?

Oh, wait, you already covered that in the "more private gifts" part. Never mind then.

 

I'm usually too lazy for gifts; besides I find doing something special is usually better, the memories tend to last longer. A few years down the line - unless something is really personalised - you usually forget who gave you a gift in the first place if you receive quite a few on birthdays, Christmas and the like. I usually take my significant other out for a meal, or to see a show or for a weekend break somewhere - though I suppose if you're having a gap year then a weekend breaks a bit out of the question. As for smartphones - I have no idea.

 

Do you have a brother?

 

Jazintha Piper: You can always give him a HTC Wildfire. I am using it for some months and it is working perfectly.

 

Iphones are good if you want a selection of phone cases. If you want to give him a good phone then go for an Android. My brother and a large market of people all enjoy the Samsung Galaxy. Personally I enjoy my HTC Desire but you can't get my model anymore and the later versions aren't amazing I'm told.

Also I think Smeul is asking if you have a brother because he knows Drog would be interested.

I like my LG Optimus. But I am an avid LG-whore. I have never had a problem with their products or services and will sing their praises until I do.
