Anyone here ever noticedd that there is allways an arsehole cop? As for the gun issue, there is a huge difference of mentality between europe and the US so you cannot ban guns in the US, you can in Europe.

True, but it also stops hot-blooded/backyard/family shootings. How many spur of the moment actions involving a gun could have been prevented by not having a gun to threaten/shoot someone with? (And please, don't say that if they didn't use a gun they'd use something else. Lets say I'd lost my job, and my house, and I couldn't afford the 140 dollars a night cost of staying in a hotel, and I had no friends or family in the area? Where am I supposed to go? I've never been homeless before, and I decide I'll sleep in my car one night, and figure it out in the morning. Well fuck, now I've got a ticket, due to circumstances possibly out of my own control, and I didn't even get a warning about it before they jumped on me and wrote the ticket. Which I cannot afford to pay for with cash, and that I don't have time to work off through community service.
