If the choice is between Russia and the EU, I'd have to go with Russia simply because the EU would never get to the end of the debate whether to attack or not.

see, if america was a part of that dispute, there wouldn't even be a question of who would attack first... ah, screw it, i bet we shove our fat ass in there somewhere anyway.

Spuddy, you're thinking of Sweden and not of Europe. Things go slow there too, yes, but not that slow. They actually get things done, you know.

Nah, they're too busy spending funds on translators and air fare for plane rides they're not even going on.

    Damn Eurotrash!

For some reason, I first read that as "No way, we're keeping Poland!" Is that the cry of the Russians or the EU-ites, though?

I voted "No" for the fucking EMU. Now, if there was only a way for me to launch my CN cruise missiles to RL Brussels...

Those fuckin East-European bastards are just trying to make Putin really-really angry and, assuming that Russia has power over Eastern Europe as USA over the world, it would be worse for Belarus, not for RF. But I can't make out it rationally: if all of them plead for commercial prices for natural gas and oil, why they shout when RF makes it? But still, it's only 110-140 bucks per 1000 m3 for them, while the commercial price is about 230. Ukraine, Georgia and Belarus are really stupid if they choose doubtable 'democracy' and 'sovereignity' with 'help' of Western Allies rather than get oil, gas and RF financial aid. Nobody would attack them, I think, it's not the method of Putin, but BL would be surely pissed off

    ---------------------------------------------

Still I'm pissed off and envious about Lukashenko being so talenteful leader that he could have broke all relationships with its main ally, supporter and defender (since there's still allied country of Russia and Belarus). :D

Man, they really WERE (even 1 year ago). You're Putin's friend if you pay commercial price. In this way, Germany is the most reliable Russia's friend, cause it pays 270 dollars per barrel and could be supplied by alternative source under Baltic Sea, which is made special so that Poland couldn't make anything with it cause it remembered Katyn or how it's spelled (the places, where Soviet NKVD killed 10000 Polish officers) and wanna avenge. No offense, but Polish populist's politics can be embarrasing and even funny sometimes, especially when it comes up that Russian Empire owned most of Poland for 100 years. In fact, Poland now is more 'friend' of Russia than Belarus, but if that dude Lukashenko will abdicate or economically capitulate, I think all will return as it was. And I think Lukashenko has to do this, because Belorussian economics is... quite ineffective and, what's most important, it should work in tie with Russian, because such kind of relationships was built by USSR

Yes, I read that 10 days ago on Russian inosmi (international journals and news) site. By the way, I'm interested how can be this applied to "democracy"? :) And is this true that Polish people aren't allowed to criticize Catholic Church because it can "offend religious emotions of others"? :sad2:
But Mazovian coutryside is really beautiful.

Probably no, because I rode in Russia through Germany and only visited Warsaw, and I've got an impression of quite developed European city, but a bit...postsocialistic in style. Somehow it resembled Eastern Berlin.
