Bug -- I can't open any containers...

I have recently encountered this bug after I load up a saved game or after extended play. I cannot seem to open any containers or the inventories of creatures I have killed. I click and get no response not even "nothing to loot" After reloading I can sometimes restore this ability but sometimes it takes several tries.

I have the patch and am running it in fullscreen mode. I got the game and then patched it so I don't know if this happened as a result of the patch.

Any suggestions?

Well, first of all we welcome u to the forum... :smile:

As 4 the bug u explained, I just want to know if you have selected the blind background or have been blinded in any way, bacause if ur Blind, you literally cannot see anything nor loot a thing but u can fight with your senses and with your companions... :smile: .

If your blinded during a fight, a major heal spell or the healers all throughout Arcanum can cure u... Hope this helps...

I am also having the exact same problem...I don't believe that I am blinded, and I have done everything to try and get rid of it. I have even reinstalled the game but when I load my saved game, the problem still occurs. Is there anyway to check if I am blinded? Again, I don't believe that I am. Thanks for the help in advance!

Look in the injuries section of your log book...

 

Yeah, check your injuries list in your logbook. I'd also check your character sheet - stats in red have been negatively affected, stats in green have been positively affected.
