If anyone is going to be in the Boston area next weekend, be sure to check out The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation's International Steampunk City in Waltham. I'm going to be going on one of the days (not sure which yet) and will share pictures from the convention. The convention is being held to celebrate the closing of the museum's recent exhibit - Steampuffin's Steampunk Form & Function: An Exhibition of Innovation, Invention and Gadgetry - which has been running since October (and this is unfortunately the first I have heard of it since the Boston media didn't give it much attention). Steampuffin, for those that remember, were the designers for the Steampunk House that was shared on this site some time ago (I'm sure Muro remembers exactly which thread it was in). You may even get a chance to meet steampunk and local celebrity, Mr. Steampunk himself, Jake Von Slatt.
