Whatwhatwhat? I'm from the planet Potatohole, as immortalised in the wonderful TV series that was Lexx. The episode where Lyekka ate the brave crew of the Potatoholian astronauts, to be exact, and where the Lexx itself accidentally blew up the planet.

At least I think so, but who can really tell? I can't even tell why you posed that question... though it made me feel slightly sad on the inside...

(As for Tel, The Hills Have Eyes is widely recognized in my household as one of the suckiest movies ever made. Hence I wonder what you could possibly need recovering from?)

See what can happen when you pose a perfectly simple question about changing the board skin? Suddenly every sad, twisted cannibal in the neighbourhood pops out of the woodwork.

    Anyone up for some corn?

I'm guessing you're recovering from the choice you made to watch it, considering the movie didn't have much going on.

I think I have a tattered old video tape of that piss-poor excuse for a movie in some drawer somewhere. Does that fact and this discussion make me want to look it up and watch the film again? Please...

Well, let me put it this way; I've seen so much in my life that movies don't do it for me.
Basically, the movie might be scary. I just don't think so.

As I remember it, the movie was really, really not scary at all. And I wasn't even particularly damaged by the time I saw it.

It's just a very much failed attempt at making a B horror movie.

If you're used to cannibals and guys shooting their heads off with shotguns, well then my dear May, you are alright.

    Hm,
Well, I think I'm gonna give it a go, anyway... :)
I'm very easy to chock, but the weird thing is that I like it afterwards...
    Freakish... :smash:

Does it have lots of sudden stuff, like those flashes that suddenly turns into the exorcist girl?

Because cannibals and shotguns sound interesting, but I just can't stand monsters jumping out to shock you, or even when the scene changes too suddenly.

It doesn't tell me about stuff suddenly changing on the screen.

I know and I am deeply sorry :(

Still, it does give some tiny bits of info.

I forgive you. The information is not important, unless it's about whether there are scenes that have something changing suddenly. And I guess it does have them because people seem unable to make movies without them.

If it wasn't so damn late, I'd go find the old video cassette and check it for swift-scene-changes just for you. But it may be in the basement, and there's no way I'm going down there between midnight and dawn.

Are you afraid of your own basement?
