    The symbol of magic.

    :twitch:

To cast spells from enchanted weaponry. The squares are the available spells and the number is the number of castings left.

If a weapon has the said spellcasting menu but has no spells available (like the one in your example), it means it's a bug - the weapon was wrongly marked as a spell-possessing one during module creation. Grab, say, a Mage Stuff from a magic shop to see how it normally works.

Not really, though it would be an interesting feature.

    Oh, and by the way...

I suggest you check the internals if it's doing that, it might not be switching any more which probably means the varnish around the coils has worn out preventing the electromagnet from firing - the iron core wont be polarised enough to hold the contact on. Also check the armature and the air gap on both sets of contacts in both states, you may need to twist it and file the contacts back to get an appreciable distance on the contact that's not meant to be forming a circuit. Contacts themselves could have corroded also, it's common on older copper-based units providing there is no electron flow between copper and iron (as otherwise the variance in potential difference with the reduction half equations at SLC results in the iron corroding first).

But no, there isn't anything similar for techies. That panel was a little overdone/over-sized much like the rest of the interface.

You probably just haven't seen that icon before, I forget it's there half the time.

Given that Charonte has explained your question, I will request simply that you use proper grammar as to the best of your ability, and actually spell the words. While you're at it, take a gander at the "read or die" faq. It's rather helpful, given that we are more than willing to ban someone for idiocy. :)
