black triangles...from outta'no where...

    Been playing the demo for a few days now(no probs' other than choppy movement"my comp'is under the min's").But now when I start or load a game there's "black triangles" all across the screen(seem's like it's pasted 'cause I can see what's 'spoused to be there).Anybody else experience this or what causes it,or more importantly,how it make it dissapear?If tried uninstalling,reboot,install,but get the same problem..

    Game kicks-ass!'specially the background music.

    Hmm... I've heard of this problem... I think the solution is something to do with safe mode, but I don't remember.

    :sad: safe mode...so choppy/laggy,makes playing almost unbearible.. :sad:

    Krix had that and fixed it. He drops by the #arcanum IRC channel on irc.gamesnet.net, you might be able to spot him there and ask him how he did it.

    It really depends on yer vid card, I had to mess with mine and then run in safemode, you might want to give me yer specs

    I'm running on a pitiful K6/2@266mHz,with 64mb of ram,and most-disgruntal 4mb v.card

    I don't know why its doing this,I've play the game for 3days with no problems other than expected lag/chop.Then black-triangles,big black rectangles with trees pasted over top of'em.

    I've "repaired",un then reinstalled,deleted and redownloaded.
    As far as I know,I've changed nothing...

    Ok I need to know your O/S (For some reason, Win2k is the cause of black triangles)
