Good piont. I'll just make sure we're all agreed, then we can get on with it. As I understand it, the following DM's are about to start:

Bout 1: Clash of the Tight Ones
Participants: Retard (aka The Lawnmower Man) vs Threedogs (aka The English Patient)
Topic (UNLESS YOU TELL ME A DIFFERENT ONE): Artificial insemmination of hogs is better than natural insemmination.

Bout 2: Young Blood Having Some Fun (look it up)
Participants: Vyaas (aka The Literate Lad) vs Deadly Bread (aka I Thought it Said Breed)
    Topic: I can't remember. Was it class-based vs skill-based?

Vyass and Deadly Bread, you need to state your topic.

Retard and Threedogs, yours will start tomorrow if you're both okay with that?

We are going for something abstract. DB is good at that, atleast he has a fighting chance. How about, why is the sky blue? (Insert catchy title here)

Furthermore, how aobut going for a team English Parliamentary debate, surely you know of these, Sheriff. It could add a whole new angle to the debate.

Not heard of that English Parliamentary thingy, and the sky being blue is an easily demonstrated physical phenomenon. I'll come up with something abstract and you can bicker about it in the morning.

Both threads will start sometime early(ish) tomorrow.

For laughs, the winner of the hog debate will play the winner of the abstract debate.

On behalf of Retard, I feel insulted. If The Lawnmower Man is not the victor in hog debate, the world will cease to make sense. Scratch that. It will continue not to make sense.

The sky is blue because of the way that light is refracted throught the atmosphere. Red light, being of a longer wavelength is defracted through a greater angle than the blue light wavelengths (shorter) and so when you look up, the red light never reaches you (gets bent around the Earth's horizon) and all you see is the blue light. This is also one of the reasons (the main reason being pollution though) that the sky looks more orange at the horizon, although most of the time you can't see it because the bands of green and orange light are so tiny in relation to the horizon and the sky.
