i'm sure more than a few of you missed some of the symbolism involved in the game.. parallel of crowley's research on pagan religions & what they had in common (tying them all into being satan).. the little hand amulets that are symbols of amun-ra.. (and freemasonry.. and the false Israel 'symbol of david': Acts 7:43) i'm quite curious if the masons ever tried to kill gates - or anything in that direction really.. he did come to power with their help (think all but 3 of the 50 richest are mason related). i'm just looking into the power structures in things - wouldn't mind having some feedback.... i know a good bit, but looking to have a better understanding. kinda amusing that the Sierra logo is a rising snake - especially with some of the symbolic remarks off the start of the game.. i never did get around to beating it.. will sometime soon i'm sure. basicly, i'm just curious as to real-life parallels.. or interesting commentary people would have on the game. http://honorablepassion.wiki.com/steps is some of my research as of late into 'arcanum'.
Jesus christ, everything you can say, yes someone has noticed it. Stop researching Arcanum. Go outside. Just go outside, breath clean air.
He might just be seeing the silhouette and that kinda looks like a snake... Oh, and no, the Masons wouldn't do that. The Illuminati might, but not the Freemasons. I'm not saying they couldn't get away with it, but since I know five of them, I can say no with some degree of certainty. Did you know they get to carry swords on themselves, as a symbol of their connection to the guild? They used to have them carry .45's, but that changed recently.
I know my fair share of Masons and they seem normal enough to me, but I come from a family of members of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows, so all lodges are fine with me. And I maintain that there is no way you can see that as a snake.
In the old King's Quest games, it kinda did. Mind you, the logo was green back then, and in a vastly lower resolution.
An obese cobra with some sort of physical deformity, but a cobra none the less! Now it really doesn't look like any snake I'd accept into the animal kingdom.
As I know from literature of Silver Age, fucken symbolists can find Anything in Anything in any combinations
