    grr.....
    this game looks amazing, but that's not my problem. My problem is that where main characters should be, only pools of blood reside. It is not a video card problem, and it has been reported by other people. I've reinstalled and patched to no avail. please help me

    Hrm ..thats f'd up ..A similar problem to that, that I've had is my chars turn into white blocks

    And that I know is from alt tabbing out of the game too long

    Are you alt tabbing out? (or windows key)

    no, I'm not alt tabbing out. The funny thing is that all the characters show up in multiplayer, but in single they don't. Maybe the character files are still compressed. The cd is new, and my video drivers are fine. any more ideas?

    maybe you have the "Vampire" version of the game, seriously definetly the character skins files are messed up like during unpacking the volumes must get currupted. try installing your version of the game on someone elses computer

    Is there any way around the "vampire" version of the game? What is it?

    Question #2: When you host an online game you are in a town. My version works fine, and everyone shows up. Is there any way out of it so I can go fight some creatures?

    I was joking about the vampire version. But I think multiplayer uses different modules for the game so they might not be corrupted.
    and I haven't tried the multiplayer so I can't help you
