Well, I could have used two lines for a reply that didn't say anything more than my current one. Do I really need to stretch a reply to a comment (the comment being "Everyone loves it and I mean EVERYONE!") into two lines when it can be said perfectly well in two words?

True, Morrowind would have made a great MMORPG, since it seems almost naturally geared towards PC crowds, due to it's horrendous lack of dialoug with the NPC crown.

 

Young people today, I don't know.

 

I think that the world has enough MMORPGs as it is. I don't think that morrowind should be a mmorpg else I would never have had the pleasure of playing it. If it was multiplayer on the other hand.....

Yes, it would have been nice if Morrowind had a multiplayer option of some kind; I'm sure it couldn't have HURT it any.

 

It would have tones of additional bugs and bullshit, but I still wish there were.

 

Morrowind was an empty husk of what could have been an awesome game. Fix up the dialogue (give the characters PERSONALITY for fuck's sake!), totally revamp the combat and thievery related skills/systems, flesh out some of the more interesting ideas presented (if I go around all the dwarf strongholds, I want to get something out of it, other than "Wow, nice architecture you've got there, how about I explore for you pretty much no reward and you waste my time?"), make it so that going something other than heavy armour/swords is a viable path, but above all, make your actions MATTER and then you would have had a pretty good game. I really liked it at first, then I realised I had no impact on the game world, and nothing I achieved meant anything. My sorry was borne on the criess of a million children whose souls had been torn from their bodies, and they lamented alongside me with much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

 

Hmph, and Morrowind's box brags of how everything you do matters in the long-run.

Did you get the expansion packs, Jar? I know I never did, but I was wondering if they really made a difference.

 

Alot of Elder Scroll fan on the company fourm are saying they downplay your inpact on the gameworld. in DaggerFall if you where caught commiting than Crime the guard went after you, kill to many guards and people your rep went down the tude. In Daggerfall you can play than truely evil character it you want to. Morrowwind they want the teen rateing so they make is so there was no gore or real blood, no dead bodies after than fight, the guard donot most of the tome go after you, you cannot play than truely evil character.

 

Well you can, you can also just save up your assassination permits and use them later on whoever you want .

No, because you could effect changes in Arcanum and Fallout (and ToEE was a dungeon crawler). Morrowind was "our entire elite army can't do anything about the Big Bad God, but you can, even though 2 of us could kick your ass!"

 

Fight Gods are very hard to any army to do. First it than God is all powerful one little all powerful Divin spell from him would destory the entire said army.

 

This argument is pointless clearly no one is gonna have their opinion swayed about how bad or good you thought Morrowind was. You either liked it, and belive me a lot of people do. Or ye got shitty and technacle and pointed out every fault the game had. Now, come on! No one ever points out a good games fault unless they played a million times until it did become repetitive and you did start to notice some down sides to the game.

I'll never say Morrowind is crap, its an insult to people who actually make a half decent Rpg thats bigger and pretty damn good compared to a lot of other games. In my unswayable opinion, Bethesda make sure that they cover as much ground as they can and they did so with morrowind and its expansion packs. They had obviously realised that Morrowind was going to have some bugs, it was inevitable, no one makes a game that big and doesn't expect flaws in it. But they covered that with a map editor so if you had any real problems with the game, you just fixed them or waited until someone else on the net fixed them. So what if no one has any real personality except for a select few. Lets see you create a unique dialolgue for several thousand characters that change as the the game progresses. Its a lot of work.

There is no single sentence that would make me think otherwise.
Morrowind in my opinion is indeed worthy of the title Role Playing Game

 

I wanna add one more thing. chuck...you have GOTTA learn to type english because you have worse grammar and spelling than my 3 yr. old! Hell, even qili and some other non-english-as-first-language people have better grammar and can spell way better than you.

Do you ever read your posts before you post them? Do they make sense to you(or sound correct)? And if so, did you finish the 6th grade??

 

I was born with than brain damage speech center which can effect written abilite also. Min amount of time it take to me to look up than word is 30 min to 45 min. I was worst when younger.

I was test than found to have than university reading level, have problem learning english gammer as the school put me in retard class for 4 year than then suddern advance me ahead 4 year to 7th grade.

my 8 year old cousin can write a paper that barely resembles english, uses that nifty grammer and spellcheck, and it comes out like a dissertation... you should seriously consider it, charles. cuz my cousin writes worse than you do...
