What's the best Aprils Fool joke you've encountered today? Those I've had were fairly obvious - on the radio I heard that Peter Forsberg had quit Avalanche and signed a contract with Skellefteå AIK, and the newspaper had commercials for instant-perfect-vision eyedrops and a few other things too local to be mentioned here. Quite hilarious, but far too evident to send me rolling to a laughtery death on the floor. Why do people always make it so obvious that they're joking?

I had a friend tell her boyfriend she was pregnant with my kid, but before she could explain it was a joke, he caught sight of me, and so now I've got a black eye. She managed to stop him and explain to him what happened before he got in further... damn hot-headed jocks.

I'm surprised he didn't make some witty remark about how you're too gay to get a girl pregnant. Something like the one I just made.

Also, RPG Codex had an AFJ that was so much funny as terrifying - Bioware making Fallout 3.

No, it would be like being a demon in an uncooperative host with strong willpower. It would suck.

I think the funniest I've seen this year was when they converted newgrounds.com to look like McDonalds was a major advertising sponsor, i nearly screamed laughted and threw myself off a building at the same time.

I'm sure all you Americans know about Howard Stern getting dogged by the FCC. April Fool's Day I turn on the radio to listen to Stern, and these two shmucks are on playing Clay Aiken and talking about having "fun without the filth." Then the station manager comes on and says Stern was ruining K-Rock's sterling reputation. That was the scariest hour of my life.

Then Stern comes on and says the 3 magic words. "Yea fucking right." And the world was good again.

No Sleek. No. Not funny, unbelievable, or scary, not even in retrospect. It's just...no.

Do you even know what KROCK is you stupid shit? No. So bite me. And don't just imply it's a rock station because of it's name, any first grader could do that.

No the saddest thing is how funny you think that retarded joke about "IHM" was.

Yes, anyway, their sister station KROQ tormented my ears for 3 years in California. I know what KROCK is. Have fun listening to Sum41 and shitty dj's making bad jokes. Either way, I'm in favor of Howard Stern's right to say whatever he wants, but he's still a fucking dumb ass.

Yea I don't remember the last time I heard Sum on KROCK, there might be there but gee can't recollect hearing them as of late.

You're going to talk about someone other than you being a fucking dumb ass? I don't think I'm gonna post back for a day, that argument is going to be too fucking hysterical, I might pop a vein.

Whatever, this isn't about Howard Stern's low intelligence and toilet humor, or the shitty music you listen to on your big fancy rich radio station, its about you being an ass hole and lashing out at me, unprovoked for posting what I percieved to be the best april fool's joke I'd been subjected to. So fuck off, I wasn't asking for you opinion in the first place ass hole. Way to make jackasses of both of us.

<edit> not that either of us needed the help.

You might have noted the sense of sarcasm in my post, but no, that being over your heard, you took me literally and insulted my music. FFR, there aren't enough grains of salt in the ocean for my posts, but take as many with what I say as possible.

Yes of course, sarcasm is always totally obvious in text, especially when you're just making rigid opinionated statements about something.

    That was sarcasm.
