    get a compas and go north untill your compass starts showing every plase as south, and it's somewwehre in canada. so no I wont.

    It's a giant heap of iron at the bottom of the hudson bay actually. It figures the most valuabe Canadian service is letting the people of the world keep their bearings so they never accidently go there.

    Well, that's because the iron isn't stuck at the bottom, it floats around. It's always the iron that magnets are attracted to, it's just the current drags it all over the bay.

    Not like a cork, but it does sit like a giant lump at the bottom of a bay and get pulled along by a current.

    Actually it aint ignorance...but rather another sad example of beliefs gone ary. The article says that in Zimbabwe people believe that mermaids deal punishment to wrong-doers. Not ignorance, perhaps some stupidity for letting things go as far out-of-hand as they did, but not ignorance.
