What does becoming a god actually do? I thought it just gave you +1 to all your stats or does it affect the story? I never did the god quest.
Two ways. One you can go to univerisity in Tarant and find the professor that will give you a book with clues in it. Also be sure to check the poster on the wall. Remember you can take a screenshot by hitting F12. The shots end up in your modulesArcanum folder. The rest you have to figure out for yourself. Two you can admit that you simply lack intelligence and find the walkthrough for the god quest.
A LOT more than just adding a point to each stat. By the way, it doesn't affect the story. At least not that I have found other than making everything easier.
No, I didn't mean the Arcanum gods quest. I meant BECOMING a god. See the different possible ends in the main plot walkthrough. I've completed the game twice and did the gods quest both times without any mentioning of actually becoming one in the epilogue.
Velorian' Ultimate adds +4 DX, +3 to melee, dodge, and firearms (sometimes to pick pocket also though that might have been a rare extra blessing), as well as +100 to your health and fatigue. A tremendous benefit indeed, so much so that I actually bank on it when designing new characters. And, for clarification, you're not a god afterwards. But you have been blessed by the best...
Gonk I see what you mean. The problem is that alot of info on the website is incorrect. I think they say they got the info from the press release version. So the final version of Arcanum might not even have the ending movie where you become a god. Soryy I can't be more helpful.
