Yea, but aside from the evil party members, all said things sucked balls.

 

Something about RPG's that always struck me as odd: Random strangers asking you to kill people for them.

Seriously, where did all the people come from who need people killed? And where's the discretion in asking somebody you don't even know to do your dirty work? Like, when was the last time a stranger approached you in a fast food joint and asked you to kill somebody? Just because I carry a gun doesn't mean I'm in the business of killing.

 

Don't laugh, because I am being serious when saying this:
Okay, so there are a lot of programmers on this forum (I think there are, at least). People have been asking for the, I guess I could say, "perfect RPG" for years. And throughout all the threads I have read on this forum, I think we can really make something. There are some very creative members here, and maybe, just maybe, if people anyone is really up for it (which I doubt anyone will be), we can make that "perfect RPG". I'm talking about maybe just a free RPG on the internet, like Runescape or something (but maybe not an MMO). And who knows? Maybe it will go on the shelves at Gamestop. (This has actually happened before. Ever heard of Painkiller: Overdose? Yeah, well that was a fan made mod for Painkiller originally. But people liked it so much that it became a real game, and is now for sale at places like Best Buy and Gamestop now).

The reason that I am saying all of this is because I really like this idea. I have thought of some very cool RPG ideas, too. And if anyone is up for this, I'll share 'em with them. And even if there aren't many programmers on this website, maybe we could go to different forums or something and advertise that we need programmers for this?

Count me in. I suck at everything but still have more writing talent in my scrotum than the entire staff at Bethesda.

 

I think that's true of most scrotums. Not to belittle your scrotum or anything...
