For those that can't figure it out - all you have to do is press the return key and then submit.

The return key actually counts as a character, but is nearly always invisible except when you select 'view all characters' in programs like Microsoft™ Word™.

1. How the hell did he do it?

2. How the hell did Sheriff Fatman find it?

1. He used the ['color=???]['/color] code to change it to the background colour - Light blue.

2.

Simply drag your mouse over his post and it shows up.

 

I saw it right away because I am using the old HoL skin (red and black). It show up like a beacon there.
