Help! Ive been trying to find Azrams Star and I went to the loc that this site gives...W1435 S616...someplace called Kna Tha. Well when i went there i didnt see anything..it just in the Glimmering Forest but no entrance to a dungeon and no Azrams Star. Is this loc correct? Or do i have to do something else to trigger its appearance? Also..if i give Azrams Star to the Master of Throwing..will she join my party? Thanks. :minigun:
The throwing master will not join you, unfortunately as she is nearly level 50. From memory there is a sort of labyrinth thant you have to find your way through, putting out torches with throwing weapons to activate teleporterts, etc.. most people find it very frustrating. I don't think I understand your question, did you go to the place called Kna Tha the lady marked on your map and it looked like anywhere else in the forest?
Eh? What lady? I just found the location on the website and I walked there..i didnt talk to any of the NPCs about it except for the throwing master. Who am I supposed to talk to for it to get marked on my map? Maybe its not worth my time since I have no skills invested in Throwing. I dont suppose you know where the Castle of Snel Nea is..where you can get the Staff of Kan Tua? I went to the loc but nothing happened..is there someone I have to talk to as well? Thanks
There's your problem right here. These locations are for mastery quests therefore repsective masters must mark them on your map but they won't give you mastery quests unless you have the stats required to become a master. The Spot Traps master who marks that castle you mentioned on your map is in Tarant in the same building Tarantian office is in. Just in another room.
You can still get to the locations without triggering the quests. I always get the master weapons anyway, even if I don't have the skill, because I can sell them for loads of money, or simply sue them anyway. The location for K'na Tha is annoying, because the entrance is actually a hidden entrance inside some trees near the point where you enter. however, it is very tricky to find if you don't have the point marked on your map, because that point 'jumps' you right next to the entrance. Otherwise, you have to carefully and systematically search each tree cluster for a purple ring teleport.
This one eluded me, too. There's an 'entrance' like a cave or a crack in the wall, a tree path. It's on the southwest side of some trees just south and east of where you travel to at that location. It's hard to see! I got in there and I shot a spiderwoman across a river and killed some bears and stuff, but couldn't work out what to do in there. My half-ogre couldnt' even throw a ginka root half way across the screen to emphasise to virgil not to pick it up at the time without hitting sogg in the head, so I just went on my merry way.
You need a ranged weapon to get through that one. I have done it throwing, with guns & even with 1&1/4 points in bow. You don't have to kill monsters with the ranged weapon, its scenery you have to hit.
You find boomerangs all around the place so you'll be okay. What about at the end where there are loads of monsters behind lava or something (can't quite remember) you have toi kill them.
