automaton

right i just got round to makeing an automaton, it took me ages, then when i found the schematic for automaton gunner i was so excited, after aquiring an elephant gun i made one, only one problem...

when i come to use it, i select it from the hot bank, throw it, and it turns back into an automaton! :x :frownyes: :cry: :smash:

 

Automaton gunner? Uber cool, where did you find the Scematic?

i dunno i just noticed that sogg had it, he probably picked it up from the vendigroth ruins of summat

 

The gunner was removed from the game. IIRC, the only way to get it is to cheat. Have you got some sort of patch applied?

Anyway, the gunner doesn't exist. That's why it turns straight back into a normal automaton.

 

actually it may be from when i was experimenting with different backgrounds, i think i started with a few random schematics, but no gold. pity i got excited about that... are there any other kind of automatons?

 

Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed too.

Verminator, you're right, it'd be fantastic if there were a series of "Automaton Variant" scematics in Arcanum. How about...

"Infernoton"
(Automaton with flame thrower, combining the Automaton with Fuel. )
