Got smashed, had a bbq and played some cricket. All in all it was a great day.

Got smashed, had a bbq and thought about all the poor dickheads out playing cricket. And saw a bloke on the back of a ute holding a bbq get smashed in the face by it as the driver went too fast around a corner.

But yeah, was a decent day overall, though it's not as if my patriotic spirit gives a shit.

Not everyone enjoys sport or loves their country. That is what makes us unique I suppose.

Indeed it is, and so long as the Muslims stop pushing for Sharia law to be adpoted here then I'm o.k with that.

Forgive my lack of knowledge of foreign holidays. What is Australia Day in celebration of? The day it was discovered by explorers, the day it gained Nationhood? Normally I would just use Google, but I find having a conversation to learn new things can be so much more rewarding.
