In his defense, it looked like there was was more interesting stuff along his way that yours.

Dude, it looks simple on a map but let me tell you, even for a feral master bushman, this continent is a toilet.

Specifically, a cow's toilet, swarming with flies and baking at 35 centigrade. To say nothing of the poisonous ecology evolved in a nutrient-poor desert. The most interesting feature out there was a coal-mine feeding a dirty power station. Oh, and a shit clogged pit-toilet with a long paragraph about strategies for paedophilia on the door. Truly, as one former prime minister described it, Australia is the arsehole of the world.

Also, as indicated, I had one slightly baked kitten in the car as of when I took a ninety degree turn back to the coast. It took me 200 kms to find a shady tree and the slightest breeze.

A word of advice for those tempted by mining money to spend two out of four weeks out there: Don't.

Go on... not that I'm interested, or more importantly need strategies.

Actually genuinely plus other superlatives, I would like to know the meaning of this Australiana reference.

Is it just me, or are slang terms for drugs getting more and more surreal.

So, uh, I've been without internet for some time, mostly due to the fact that we've now started the actual road trip. I'm currently in Warrnambool (fuck's up with that name?), heading for Adelaide. Hopefully, we'll be there in a day or two. Sorry for not giving an update whilst in Canberra, we were busy visiting Questacon and some random sex-shop, not giving me the time to take out my laptop before we were leaving again.

Anyway, here's my temporary Aussie number: 0439566577. If you're in Adelaide this week or in Sydney the 22th and wouldn't mind meeting half-unknown strangers, send me a message. I'd be glad to at least say hi.

Cool Mcgool, I'll be in Adelaide this week; I'll try to call.

    Take care.

P.S., What are you going on about now, Smuel?

I don't want you forming relationships with each other outside of the forum. It's like cheating. I think I speak for everyone when I say you're cheating on me.

I'll probably arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon. Not sure when we'll be leaving, but I don't think we'll be staying for more than a day or two. Fairly certain we have nothing planned for Sunday, except for the evening, so if you can overcome your fears, that would be a good time for a short chat over a coffee or so.

(Yes, this is a dirty copy paste form FB.)
