im playing a mage character. what is the best light weight armor i could use with him? right now i have dragon skin armor, very high defense against fire but no one seems to use fire. should i bother keeping it? oh and also where can i get things repaired. most black smiths wont talk to me due to my 100% magic aptitude and the black smith in the first town no longer has the repair option in dialog.
Well first of all you could try looking thourgh item list...bloody stupid aren't you? Secondly you could try a few armors on and figure out which one you like more...fucken idiot! Thirdly you bleeding fire bleeding mages use bleeding fire...and all the bleeding fire creatures! Damn newbies!
Ok, in a nicer post...arcane leather kicks a$$. I found some on the quest to kill the demon in Caladon. Good stuff, light weight. Secondly, you can get things repaired by the junk dealer on the Tarant Docks (usually better than most shops). He could care less your magical aptitude. Second, when you complete the quest for Maxim, he will repair stuff, and can even fixed broken items.
hey Ioo i was asking people for their OPININS! next time i will just state that for people like you who are a little slow and dont catch on to things like that. Its ok i have read your posts so i wont expect to much from you in the way of useful thoughts etc...
The only problem with Arcane Chainmail is that it's heavy. A mage character usually doesn't have very much Strength. Of course, that first Earth spell can change that, with a +4 Strength boost on every use.
every background has it's stuff. i mean for example:if you'l choose the "raisen by snake handlers". in the chest that in the crash site(near the kite shaman),you'l have some potion against poison and some emerald neclace(not sure). but when you choose the "extreme personality" you get an arcane chainmail. it worked for me every time i checked! but i think that in different versions of the game it's different... so you'l have to check for yourself!
