Arg! Pyrotechnic Axe?

I've been playin' me dwarven technologist fer many levels, and to my shame just discovered that while backgrounds don't allow you to exceed yer racial statistic maximums, the negatives do seem t'lower yer maximums. So having run away with the circus as a wee lad means no 19 INT fer me. Wanting to master technology, I've immediately started all over again. Only now I'm afraid I've missed the schematic I need to rebuild my faithful pyrotechnic axe. Do y'get this in Shrouded Hills, or not until later in the game? Thanks!

If I remember correctly, I purchased the schem. at the tech. blacksmith in Tarant, but it's been a while. Certainly a must have for any techie, I love the way it chops through wooden doors/chests without damaging the weapon.

 

you can also find it in the tarant sewers gaurded by 3 or 4 mechanical anarchids

 

Thankee, I'll check on it. This time I stopped in Dernholm on my way to Tarant, and I couldn't remember whether the axe somehow came out of the Bessie Toone mine or somethin' like that. Much appreciated.

no prob, and also, there is a neat way to kill them not even entering the room. by puching them from outside while they stand near the frames of the door

 

Tarant sewers? You mean the basement of Willoughsby's. Well, I guess it's in the sewers.

 

yup I was surprised when I went up the ladder and saw an ogre pounding me on the head geuss it was his bodygourd

 

Lorgham never attacks me even as I went down there.

 

when I exited to the house uninvited he attacked me nonetheles. Bah! Bah!

 

There is a chest next to the trap door, unlocked with I think 34k in gold in it. Ive never been attacked by the Ogre Guard
