Arcanum_OST_Lossless.exe Issues

Hello there, I drudged up my old Arcanum disk a few days back, and found this site soon after. First off, thanks to the admins for hosting so many cool upgrades for the game, and the folks who've made so many improvements.

That said, Im having a wee issue with the Lossless OST download. Ive redownloaded multiple times, tried running the executable itself, and opening with WinRAR and 7zip, in each case the file -begins- extracting at track 5, and at track 13 closes out with an error.

Am I just being daft and missing something obvious, or is the file corrupt? And if so, is there an alternative DL link anyone can provide?

I just downloaded the executable in question from our Download section and used it. Indeed, the extraction begins at track 5, then it continues all the way to 21, then there's the readme and finally there are tracks 1 to 4. I have no idea why that's the sequence, but it's an unimportant detail. The important thing is that the file isn't corrupt - I had no problems with the 13th file, or any file for that matter. Unfortunately for you, it seems something's wrong on your side. Maybe you don't have enough spare disc space? Those extracted files are worth half a giga.

 

More like the connection got interrupted whilst he was downloading at around track 5 in the archive. Try re-downloading, windows will typically spout that much nonsense if you're low on disk space that I'm sure you would have figured it out by now.

A good tip if you want to find a file is to type the filename into google surrounded by quotation marks. Just be aware that some sites collect metadata from the google bot and are actually filled with viruses, these typically repeat the same keywords over and over but just scan the file if you download it. Unfortunately I am rather lazy and could only find references to another download location on Russian websites.
