Arcanum is a very good game, but when NWN finally ships (yeah yeah it HAS been delayed a few times too much, but it will be done when it's done!)I think Arcanum will drop a little bit.

But... It will be the game of choice until NWN ships (this summer I believe), and of course, when you've got tired on all the DnD stuff, a few hours with Arcanum wouldn't hurt.

I hope it will be good, It seems Interplay is devoting less time on it coz ID2 will be released first(I think May 28)....

List of games that I expect to be good since they got delayed a lot:
    1. NWN
    2. Warcraft 3
    3. HOMM4

    feel free to add... :winknudge:

Interplay doesn't have too much to do with Neverwinter Nights anymore. In a stroke of pure genius Interplay tried to screw over Bioware if you remember the breach of contract and royalty lawsuits awhile back.

    The new publisher is Infogrames.

As far as comparing two I don't really see any comparison. NN is online only and due to the virtues of Arcanum's MP code its offline only:(

Neverwinter Nights certainly looks rather cool but it's still based on the pathetic AD&D. It's a wonder people manage to do good games with that system (BG for instance). Talk about swimming upstreams!

D&D has brought much Pen and Paper happiness to many people of different generations. You'd better not let S_P hear you say shit like that.

Sure enough but there are a lot of better systems today and I see no reason too use a system that is designed for pen-and-paper for computer-games. Who/what is S_P by the way?

S_P: Saint_Proverbius, Staff Member and has Power on the forum. If he doesn't like what you say, he will enlist Calis and Jinxed to give you shitty avatars and edit your messages to say shitty things .

I dont think much of neither Arcanum or NWN... but I think NWN will be worse.

Best 3 all time games in no particular order: Fallout, Fallout 2, Sacrifice.

You guys are strang.D and D allows you to use your imagination(which I have a lot of)and that is one reason why I love it.now D and D on the computer allows you imagination to be in graphics. Now NWN is going to be the best game ever.

Jinxed is - because I'm a 'special' friend of his. Actually, I chose my own title and avatar. When you hit 1000 posts, you get to choose one - of course, I had to get to around 1500 posts to get mine...

Why does everyone think that my avatar is some sort of punishment?

zlobster sounds so much like loo it's not funny...

Your imagination is absolutely nothing if you couldn't even imagine a wabbit.

loo is an old regular. He's quite funny sometimes, but he bashed a few too many newbies, and spammed more than anyone else, and eventually quietly left.

Newbies everywhere gave a sigh of relief as the person known as loo stopped taking their posts apart and putting them back together again and then making comments about it. In fact, everyone gave a sigh of relief when that happened.

He's made several attempts at a comeback, but never manages to remain hidden for long.

    Spammed?

Did he/she/it send people useless mails or did he/she/it just write a lot of nonsense at the forum?
