    Is there a way to host a server outside of the game, as a stand-alone program? Thanks!

    I think Crypton's site has scope for this, but I've not looked into it myself so I'm sure he'd be able to give you more details if I'm correct.

    I've been looking into the project, and it certainly gets very close. Hopefully he'll get a version released. I'll try asking him directly, thanks!
