    Hello, ladies and gentlemen:

I send this topic from the deep sewers of Tarant, because, during my travels, I have felt a shiver down my spine :( ... That is just because one question is burning my head and choking my heart....

What is the best, greatest and most powerful equipment you have ever had?

Which equipment would you recommend to an inexpert player (not myself :D )?

And please, let´s have an order: Rings, Amulets, Helmet, Gauntlets, Shield, Boots, Weapons and Armors;ok?

Thank you, and also include both paths: technology and magick, if you want / can...

    Thanx and bye!!

Well, I would recommend myself these ones:

Rings: Ring of Poison Resistance & Arcane Ring.

    Amulet: Amulet of Dorian.

    Helmet: Arcane Helmet... yesssss!

    Shield: Shield of Force.... yessssss!!!!!!

Armor: Well, three of them (Similar): Mechanized Platemail, Arcane Platemail and Elite Platemail.

Gauntlets: I don´t know the exact name... Arcane Gauntlets, maybe? :-?

Weapon: Well, I´ve stolen a Big Big Sword from Lianna del Par in Cumbria. The name of this great wonder is Sword of Baltar. If you want a Bow, check the Chris Beddoes mod and take the Bow of the Titans. A gun? Bronwyck Gun or Blade Launcher.... hehehe :D

Boots: Possibly, the best I´ve known so far are Enchanted War Boots.

    Thankkkk u!!!!

Well I've only played a technologist so far so here's my tech choice:
Rings: not much choice for a tech, the charged rings of course
Amulet: haven't found any that would work for techs. Any ideas?
Helmet:who needs a helmet when you get +2 persuasion with that optical device, but if you want one then Helm of vision I guess (the one I haven't made yet)
    Shield: flow disruptor of course
Armor: for a melee fighter machined platemail, for a gunslinger either healing jacket or gnomish chainmail (whatever slows you down less)
Boots: war boots I tihnk, good damage resistance and don't slow you down
Gauntlets: the ones Magnus has. they add to strength and constitution. Or the war gauntlets if you're a melee fighter
Weapon: for a melee fighter it MUST be a pyro axe. For an archer- a pyro bow I guess. For firearms lovers I'm hesitating between a mechanized gun and a blade launcher. People say Tesla gun is also quite good. In fact, I could even do with a looking glass rifle...

Rings: Charged Rings and the Ring of Verility. (Or was it Vitality? No, I think it was Verility.)

Amulet: Cassie's Necklace gives +40 magick resistance. I believe the Jewel of Hebe is neutral too; it gives a blessing when worn, not a magick effect. I think.

constitution as important for techies as it is for magic characters. mages need the fatigue, but charged rings help a techie more. jewel of hebe is neutral and gives +2 BE and +1 CH

    Yaah

Ok, here's for a technological character:

Rings: Charged Ring and ring of virility
    Amulets: Jewel of Hebe
    Helmet: Goggled Helm
Gauntlets: Vendigrothian Gauntlets (AC +15, D+15)
    Shield: Flow Disruptor Shield
Boots: Metal Boots (if thief, I just take them off to steal... simple, eh?)
Weapons: The Bangellian Scourge or Droch's Warbringer. Mechanized gun if not using shield.
Armors: Electro Armor, Machined Platemail or Iron Clan Armor if small guy.

As for, for a Magical character:

    Rings: Arcane ring, Arcane ring
Amulets: Fawn's necklace or Medallion of Beauty
Helmet: Arcane Helm, Yzar's Cost or Dark Helm
    Gauntlets: Arcane gloves
Shield: Screaming Shield or Tempered Shield (both great)
    Boots: Elven boots.
Weapons: Arcane sword, The Bangellian Scourge.
Armors: Arcane leather armor (the best for mages in the game)

The best jewlery in the game: the Ring of Influence & the Jewel of Hebe.

Armor, Arcane Leather, Robes, or Chain. Healing Jacket.

Weapons, anything Arcane, Pyro Axe, Charged & Envenomed Swords, Elemun's Bow, Tesla Gun, Droch's Warbringer, Sword of Baltar, Azram's Star, Aerial Decapator, Axe of Lost Time.

Combat amulett for techies, Finger Bone of St. Mannox. BTW, Cassie's Necklace & Plojian's Amulett are both neutral & give 40 % magic restance.

Magic jewlery, I use what I find laying around in dungeons.

How could I forget the Heavy Barbarian Blade?

How do you know how to reach the Old Blind Master house. I mean, who tells you that, because until now I went to the coordinates and even there the spot didn't appear.

No one. It is an easter egg that the developers gave hints to after the game was released.
