Hello unpleasant forum-dwellers. I came across an interesting Youtube channel some may be interested in. It's the channel of great marvels, undiscovered treasures and hidden kingdoms. It's the channel with videos of string-quartet playing Arcanum soundtrack. Not very common around the internet in these harsh times. Le example Channel Enjoy, or cry because you'll never be so cool.
Thanks alot dear friend! I am a fan of Arcanum OST (though my wife says it is depressing) I will most certainly follow them incase they may produce some new Arcanum style songs.
Want to share that video file, Drog? I'd very much like to see a performance of Qintarra, what with the rainstick, marimba and djembe, but even without Qintarra, I love you, DivinePonies.
This was a pretty cool link, thanks for sharing. I've always enjoyed Arcanum's alternate take on a video game soundtrack. Random story: A family friend of mine is a professional trumpeter (Trumpeteer? Trumpeterizer? Trumpetist?) and teaches at a university level. He often gets asked to perform in regional/national undertakings of various sorts. A year or two ago he was asked to perform as a last-minute replacement for a deathly ill 1st chair trumpet-guy in the big live Final Fantasy Orchestra program that toured the United States. He related to me (knowing I was a gamer) how surprised he was at the "young person" turnout the event had. He said it was the most excited he's seen anyone under the age of 30 about "classical" style music. He picked my brain for about 20 minutes on the subject, it was quite interesting. I, for one, would pay a reasonable ticket fee to see a live, talented string quartet play the Arcanum soundtrack.
I was aware of the actual word, but I figured I'd stream-of-consciousness my thought process on that one for everyone's amusement.
I was probably aware of that too, but sometimes I just feel the urge to put my grammar nazism on display.
Hello, again. Recently, a little bird told me a secret: Here be the secret I just want to let you know that you can download Arcanum music in .pdf (sheet music, that is) on this page if you moderatelly scroll with your pointing device towards the bottom. Also, here you can listen to some composition heavily influenced (or even better, modified) by the Arcanum theme.
Wow, that's an amazing song! Do you also have it in higher quality? It's pretty noisy, no doubt, it's only 128kbps...
