Welcome to the forum, Waromon! I'm not sure how much help this'll be, but, here goes.... It took a little doing but I finally tracked down the name of the font that used for the loading screen. Packaged inside Arcanum it's called Morph. In spite of all the different fonts I've collected over the years, I haven't seen anything quite like it outside the game. It may have been a custom creation. The X in paticular, is unique in the way it looks to have been formed by stacking 2 Vs together with an overlap in the middle. So... If you're serious about finding this, get a screenshot of the loading screen and start going through the free-font websites. Might get lucky. Here's four places I remember visiting: http://www.1001freefonts.com/ http://www.urbanfonts.com/ http://www.dafont.com/ http://simplythebest.net/fonts/
Welcome to the forum, Waromon! While digging through the heaps of utter shit at Deviantart in search of decent Arcanum art and wallpapers, I stumbled upon a certain entry - the Arcanum Windows XP theme. Inside the pack was not only a nice wallpaper and UI elements, it also included 2 fonts. One of these fonts was called Morpheus Cyr. http://www.newfonts.net/index.php?pa=show_font&id=283 Enjoy!
This is it!!! Thank you, Viktor_Berg! Hey Bob, we should add this to the downloads section.
Thanks so much, Viktor_Berg! It's truly amazing. Need to add, that Cyr version is gift for me but I've found Western Europe (original) version of it here: http://www.abstractfonts.com/font/651 with comments of the creator, Eric Oehler (he musician from band Null Device).
Interesting. That's the same font that wizards used to use for some of their Forgotten Realms books. I've had it all these years and never noticed the similarities.
