You are aware this is a conversion of Arcanum to a Pen and Paper RPG, not a mod?

When November is over I will return to this project. The very bare minimum to run a game is almost done, I just need to finish statting the spells and writing out the schematics and it will be ready for use.

All the flavour stuff, on the other hand? If you're waiting for actual world details and stuff, you're going to be waiting a fair while yet.

Roller: Blue Rose is a particularly interesting variant of the d20 system which I find to be vastly superior to the father product.

 

Hmm. I wonder at the viabilty of playing this in the RP Forum...

 

Maybe not the RP forum. But, if enough people are nice enough to me (read: suck up a little) I'll run a session or two over IRC or AIM over the Christmas holidays.

 

ah, you mean some kind of a table game. Now i remember to have seen something similar on some other forums. In was very funny to follow. Quite a story. A lengthy process though. (DM - very mean. )

 

You'd have liked my old FFRPG GM then. We played every Saturday for a year and a half and never got past Level 10. (Considering that you can get all the way up to Level 99, this was a problem... Triply so when you realise that our warriors only had a couple of moves and our most powerful caster only had four spells. My Dark Knight was completely nerfed for months on end. Dark Knight - Shadow Element Attacks. Undead - Immune to Shadow or ABSORB Shadow. Pyramid - Full of Undead. Xiao - VERY unhappy.)

And it will be done when it's done, and not a moment before. This is a massive bloody project and I'm doing the vast majority of it alone.
