    He needed all those $$$ to generate the 1.21 JIGGAWATTS for his flux capacitor to hit 55mph so he could go Back to the Future and obtain a pure sample of the plague which destroyed us (and the whales) in 1980s era San Francisco, and also to father himself so he could lead the future resistance against the robots.

    No, it's not an April Fool's joke. I found a link to that article several days ago, and you'll also notice that it's dated March 19. But yeah, it's a genuine article. Pretty cool I thought. At least the guy's imaginative, as well as stinking rich.

    Yes, it's a genuine article alright, but from the WEEKLY WORLD NEWS supermarket tabloid. The one that prints photos of presidents holding press conferences with space aliens. The one that doesn't even pretend to be real.

    Didn't we used to have a rolleyes smilie? Coulda sworn it was there. Oh well, :rolleyes: anyway.

    You mean it was a real hoax? I just thought it was something made up by the Weekly World News. I didn't even know they printed stories that they didn't make up.

    There was one particular rolleyes smilie that I think used to come with previous versions of phpBB, but when a more recent version was released it seemed to vanish off the face of the Internet. It was very popular on the Black Isle boards, and there was much sorrow when we were kicked to the new Interplay boards and the smilie was gone. Anyone know which one I mean? I can't seem to find it anywhere anymore.

    Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Gotta lay off the nacho cheese dip right before bed....

    I check in at this forum from time to time for the latest dirt on free webhosts, but the search has been long and hard and my old Johnny Mercer site is gathering dust on a Zip disk somewhere....

    Currently I'm looking at http://www.u69.us/ . Looks good and stable, but membership depends on participation in their forum.
