anyone play a hand to hand character?

i noticed that there is at least one machined glove with which you can do some damage. are there other gloves/gauntets which do more damage?
twould be nice to have a huge 1/2 orgre with some gloves pounding those kites into a pulp.

 

a lot of the tech based gloves have some sort of damage bonus..... from memory i don't if many/any of the magic gloves do as well.

 

Striength of Earth, Hardened Hands, Agility of Fire. Do the gloves realy need a damage bonus?

I'd suggest Weaken, Hardened Hands and either Haste or Tempus Fugit. Or both (my last character, Gwynnbleidd the Elf Battlemage, had a speed of 77 with Haste and Tempus Fugit on. He didn't really need any help from the party). And Shield of Protection of course, with high MA it gives you enough protection to be able to fight naked (useful when dealing with Fire Elementals and other armor damaging beasts).[/url]

 

i suppose spells would be alright, but in the spirit of Fallout using gloves for hand 2 hand combat would be cool.

 

The Vendigrothian war guantlets are real nice. Or the war gauntlets....... or just about any other Technology based glove.............. off topic: where might one go to find some information about "Fallout" everyone seems to talk about it.......

check out the bargain section of your local computer/software store. if there's a best buy in your neighborhood check there. i've seen it there for about $10.

 

Many of the Fallout developers became the core of Troika. Just scored Fallout II last week. Been looking for it used for about a year. Someone said I & II have been seen together in a bargin pack at Best Buys.

at the beggining its often useful to buy the boots to kick the wolved to death.

 

I don't know about anywhere else, but for the last 9 months now we've had the Fallout Radioactive Pack available in the UK. This is all three Fallout games bundled together for only £9.99!

I dont usually use hand to hand because it looks borring. It might be better if there were more animations for it. Got a good idea for that, but thats something for another board.

you really should be able to attack chests and things yourself instead of haveing to use your followers, especiially if you like a hlaf ogre with virgil at your side, i only keep him for the healing he does and the storyline he introduces
