    Hey folks,

I get this itch to reinstall Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura and dive back into it like it's 2001 all over again. Does not matter how many times I have played it, there is something about that world such as the weird mix of steampunk and high fantasy, the music & even the janky combat—that pulls me right back in.

I will start off thinking I will just test a build idea (usually end up going either tech-heavy or a smooth-talking half-ogre) & next thing I know, I am knee-deep in Tarant politics or blowing stuff up with the Tesla gun.

Is it just nostalgia or does the game actually hold up that well?

Also i have check this resorse https://terra-arcanum.com/forums/threadsjira-online-training/i-give-up.14195/ want to hear if anyone else still boots it up from time to time—or if I am just stuck in a beautiful, buggy loop.

    Thank you.:)

I played Arcanum once, 23 years ago, and haven't played it since.

I only hang around this board because the people are cool.

And these days I'm basically the only person who still posts regularly, so I guess that makes me the coolest of all.
