anyone else experience this?

i remember years ago i was playing (i presume) an unpatched version of arcanum. i dont remember what triggered it, but i experienced a bug where i was in the middle of the game and at some point was moved to some unknown location. that is where i met a naked human who was the bloke who sold u gear at character establishment. now im not stupid and i am expecting the reply "thats a bug from unpatched arcanum", but im posting this by pot luck that noone has experienced it before ;-)

 

That happens no matter what, especially when a save is corrupted.

 

It happened to me when I accidentally pressed F7 and F8 with the same finger, so the game chucked a sped and came up with that.

 

I never had that one, but playing unpatched Arcanum is fucking the cheapest hooker in Thailand without a condom, and expecting to cum away clean.

 

It's really annoying, anyway. I've lost some cool characters that way (and repairing the game hasn't helped a bit).

 

I love unpatched Arcanum. Because I never experienced a single bug.

 

Gross is right. That's the place it goes to when you try to load a corrupted save game.

 

I personally like the crashed Arcanum location. It's novel for the first few times. So, I'm now a basic male human named "None." Standing next to a hypocritical shopkeeper in the middle of nowhere.

My friends didn't believe me at first.

This location (called the "unknown location" I think) is located on your map at (1,1). I guess this is where your character is from, as s/he seems to be a foreigner everywhere.
