    When I mess up the 2nd circle of the gods quest, do I have to start over from the beginning of the quest/the first circle or can I just start over from the beginning of the 2nd circle?? (I can't believe I screwed up...)

    You only need to start the first circle over. You can verify this by looking at the blessings/curses section of your journal. The first circle blessing should still be there.
