In a new Arcanum game, I just tried to learn the Charged Axe schematic, and the game crashed. I reloaded a number of times, and every time I try to learn this schematic, the game crashes to the desktop. I loaded the character editor, and the Charged Axe isn't even in the list of schematics there! I don't suppose I can somehow convince the game to let me learn one of my favorite schematics?
I am. Is the charged axe only in the extra pack? I could swear I remember it from earlier games, but I could be thinking of something else. I found the problem a moment ago. I had been trying to create a new schematic (and failed utterly). Somehow, the schematic.mes and schematic_text.mes I was using had no Charged Axe. I deleted them (my only change had already been removed) and all is well.
