Our current administration needs to give it a rest... First our bongs, now our porn...

I thought we killed all those native Americans so we could escape from forced religion, and dictated morality? Not that I enjoy watching "imulated gang rapes" and haven't really witnessed any, but if thats what floats your boat why should that bother me? I paid about 400 dollars in taxes this year, I'm glad to know this is what its going towards.

The thing I think is so ridiculous about this situation is that this type of thing people SEEK OUT, I have never had porn forced on me EVER. You have to request things like the Spice Channel, or the Playboy Channel, when you sign up for cable television. Ashcroft makes it sound like telemarketers call you up and play recordings of midgets and goats and supermodels all climaxing at the same time. Of course, they'd only play hese heinous audio recordings after they had asked to speak with the youngest child in the house.

This article does a pretty good job remaining ambiguous, ey mention that a few people might feel that this isn't what they expected...

    March on Christian soldier.

You know after reading that the only thing that went through my mind was..... "there's an obscenity division?'..... I wonder just what their criteria is for labaling something "obscene" and there-fore illegal, which one can only assume is the purpose for said division.

If a majority of the population is enjoying it, they'll sure as hell label it obscene.

Honestly, I'm against porn where the people involved are being forced into it... that's illegal, and rightly should be. But if everyone involved is doing it by their own free will... what harm has been done?

Well obviously people being forced is rape, what they meant by "simulated gang rape" is that people stage it, so it looks like a gang rape which disgusts me, but hey, its just acting, I don't have to watch it either.

I take the position of "What you do, in your own time..." unless of course, it involves children. Then I wish every method of torture known in the world upon you.

Yea I pay good fucking money for porn, that wrinkly little conservative dildo with an attitude should stay out of my business! He wants to label anything he doesn't like as obscene? He doesn't drink coffee, what is he going to hold protests in front of fucking Starbucks?

Hahaha, as if you'd pay for porn these days. I mean, not that I look at porn or anything. I mean, I might, and if I did (and this is only an if) then I wouldn't be paying for it.

What do you mean, in office?
He is a cabinet member, unelected, although Congress must say that it is OK for Bush to appoint him.

So basically, Bushie, Johnie, and the Big Dick want to outlaw gay, interracial, and unarranged marriages because the Bible only talks about arranged marriages between two people of opposite sexes and coinciding races. The Bible also doesn't express outrage at slavery, racism, bribing officials (Abraham once pays a king several livestock to side with Abraham over a well), and polygamy, so I guess those are ok.

What a trade-off...we get a book for our freedom. HURRAH! Oh wait, no, I wanted a new LOTRs trilogy, they're much more well written.
