    I can't watch that video right now because I am at work, but rest assured I completely agree with you, Dark Elf.

    I am outraged / reassured* by that video.

    It's a typical example of feminism gone mad / coddling the kids / our ligitious society / small-minded conservatism / pandering liberalism*.

    and I won't stand for it / am 100% behind it*.

    * Delete as applicable, depending on whatever the video is about, and your opinion on the matter.

    It's really amusing that "outraged", "our ligitious society" and "won't stand for it" fit the video to a T.

    I don't know what to say about it really, it's just plain foolish and I'd imagine they'd have fired him if he didn't act too. The person who did the firing should get fired. I could maybe understand if he saved a drowning man and someone else suffered an injury on his part of the beach whilst he was occupied - but that didn't happen and really who would just sit back and watch someone die?

    Saying that, he would have had a nice view of it from his high lifeguard's chair.

    That better not be spoiler about the Songs of Ice and Fire series, or else I'll wake the dragon! I've only read A Game of Thrones so far (my fiancée owns the books and she wants to read them first, but she's taking her sweet time with A Clash of Kings, Jesus!), I'm also watching the series alongside but it's not as good. If A Game of Thrones was anything to go by, I'm sure the rest of the books will be really good. Anyway, tangent over.

    Maybe it didn't make much of an impact on me, I far prefered Khal Drogos' speech about raping that anything Danearys did or said. I was only joking anyway, don't worry you didn't really wake the dragon.
