So on wednesday of last week it was 15 celcuis, nice spring day, all the snow is gone, the grass is turning green and the birds are singing. In the field behind my house children and small dogs are playing happily. Thursday is starts to get windy and cools down a bit. Friday night it starts to snow, which melts then freezes. Saturday we get hit with a freakin blizzard, -10 celcius. Now we got a total of 20cm of snow, with more on the way. I normally drive the highway to work at 110 km/hr and takes maybe 20 minutes tops. Today I could have skated to work faster. I counted a total of 15 cars in the ditch, 3 were downside-up. And those are just a minute few of the ones reported on the radio.

So how was everyone else's weekend?

    Budapest, Hungary.

Weather is wonderful. Sunny, warm (18..20°C), with totally clean sky and air. Trees are blooming and the grass is vividly green with only moderate amounts of hippies growing out of it. The entire scene is wonderful, calming and relaxing. And as a plus, boobies are everywhere.

And it's time for some biking :)

The weekend's been lovely. Nights have been somewhat cold, but we've had temperatures at about +8 Celsius during the day, and it's been sunny. Who cares if most of the snow is still left? We're heading for spring damnit!

    EDIT: Spelling is teh hard!

Sunny and hot on Saturday, rainy on Sunday. Normally I'd choose rain over sunshine but I had just gotten all the dogshit cleaned up in backyard on Saturday and was going to mow on Sunday but a saturated yard killed that plan.

wastelandhero: Look on the bright side. Maybe the Flames will knock off the Sharks tomorrow night in game 7. I'm pulling for them.

Down south in the same country as DE, we've had a nice day with lots of sun, warmth and absence of clouds.

For once, the weather here doesn't suck.

We keep'ving days switching between almost-warm to hailing. So, at this point, I'm voting for global warming!

Southern Oregon: We went from sunny and warm on Friday to overcast and spitting ice-cold rain on Saturday, then mixed snow, sleet, and rain on Sunday.

Today has only been a hint better....

In Nazareth, Pennsylvania, it's been an average of 78 degrees for the past 4 days. I start to sweat (doing outdoor work) at 70...I don't like this temperature in spring already!

People switch tires too early don't they? Yeah, some people are idiots when it comes to that. Well, I put on my summershoes today, bet it will snow tomorow. :)

You should be true to your moniker and move to Nevada though.

With gang violence, drug use and murder on the rise here, it will soon be a wasteland.

And acually, suprisingly enough, most people still have on the winter grips, but it doesn't seem to stop them from being idiots. Once you get into a slid, the best winter grip won't save your ass. Good driving is the key here.

Just the opposite here in Pennsylvania where, after the sight of the first snowflake, everyone hits there brakes to nice moderate 35 in a 65 zone. But I guess that's expected in an ancient state where the population's mean age is > 60.

I'm aiming for New Mexico. Actually, I'm plotting to reclaim the Norweign throne, and then use my royal title to attack and claim Greece. :) Anyone care to rally with me now?

What, is this CN LARP you're playing now? This may be more fun to just sit back and watch instead of participate.

Well, after many years of driving in this I finally got stuck in a snowbank last night. I ended up jacking the van up and putting my floor mats under the tires to get out. FUN....

But the end is is sight, I can finally see the sun and the temp. is on the rise. In the pluses by saturday...yeah.

They are saying this is the worst spring blizzard in over 20 years.

God I love global warming and all it's lovely worldly side effects.

Yet again you refer to a nation which doesn't exist on planet Earth. Did Judy Garland take you somewhere over the rainbow?

Maybe he is just talking about claiming the land?
Although difficult, have the land areal of a smaller nation could be wuite usefull.
