After the end...

Hi there,

I read somewhere that after the final battle you can continue with the game by using some sort of mod or hack. I was wondering if there is any extra dialogue with followers after the game's over (for example, does Virgil have anything new to say in response to the "what do we do now?" question)?

People will tell you stuff like "the game is over", go to bed, you've finished the game" and the story state is like "You've somehow find a way to play after the end congrats".

I could find you dialogues lines if you need them.

Raven : That's a foolish question. You're going to turn of the machine and go to bed. I mean, the game's over. There's nothing left to do. Good night...

Geoffroy : What are we going to do now? Are you bloody joking? We're going to stop playing this game, because you already won, you damned fool! Go to sleep...do you have any idea what hour it is? I swear...I just don't understand some people...

Sebastian : What do you think we're going to do? We're going to turn off this game and go to bed! Sometimes I wonder about you...

Franklyn Payne : Now? Why now we're going to stop playing this game! There's no more bloody adventures to go on! It's over! HA! Isn't that a crock! I'd almost be disappointed, if I wasn't so bloody tired from the whole affair. Farewell!

Zan Alurin : [She closes her eyes.] I see...I see you turning off your computer. The game is over. You need not play any more...

Perriman : Now? Well, I'd say you're going to shut off this game and go to sleep! It's over! We've won! No offense, but sometimes you're not the smartest of fellows...

Most of the responses of followers have the appropriate sound files as well.

 

You can use Virgil's Debug Menu to force this story state and experience the dialog for yourself. Sadly, there's no "official" way to access it. A late addition Easter Egg that was never finished? We'll never know.
