So what would you do if you were king of the world?

Assume robots to enforce your will.

 

I started this thread because I was pissed off after a bad day and briefly fantasized about forcibly sterilising all the stupid people in the world.

Also, anyone rude, ugly, inefficient, unreasonable or unhygeinic.

But I feel better now. So, yeah... nevermind.

 

I would force my robots to eliminate double posts.

 

Globally legalised abortion, euthanasia, suicide, in vitro fertilisation, embryo freezing and human stem cell research would be a nice start.

 

Enforce politeness, every time someone doesn't act in a generally courteous way when there isn't extenuating circumstances (i.e. high stress levels, depression, etc.) they get an electrical shock from some sort of device I've implanted in everyone. Everytime they err, the shock increases in voltage until it reaches lethal levels. In due course crime is abolished and everyone is nice to one another.

Nahh not really, as King I would just demand a lifetime supply of beer and live in my Palace under the sea. Everyone else could do what they liked.

 

I would send all males and ugly women to colonize the moon, leaving me on earth with all the babes.

 

I am probably the only person here who is actually suited to ruling the world. It would be a much better place.

 

I'd make a rule that randomly chooses 9/10 of population to be decimated, then, in that new unpopulated world, i'd have the nature regain most cities in this world, with mankind inhabiting only the best places. No poverty, No misery, All people working equally and just a touch of misanthropic-dictatorial oppression. Sweet.
