:D When the Norman conquent Saxon Enland in 1060 the Saxon refuse to learn or speak Noman French and the Norman refuse to learn or speak old Saxion. So than middle langauge was need to fill the gap. So they took some Norman french , old saxon , latin ,arabic, afew africa word, dane word ,and germany word than apply gammar rule meant for latin to then and their use.
I forget their use greek surfix and prefix on the word from other langaues.
English change over the century than is still change. If you try to read the orginate English that Sphere wrote in you wouldnot be able to understand as the English they spoke in the 16th century was middle english. The word Munnery was than code word for house of ill-dispute prosition.

Charles you spew more shit that a broke sewer main. I don't like to flame people but don't ever fuck with the Bard. I assume that "Sphere" is supposed to be Shakespeare and "Munnery" is supposed to be Nunnery as in "to a nunnery go" and it is not code for whorehouse. Hamlet already cracking from the burden of avenging his father tries to push away Ophelia. Also the plays were not written in middle english.

Well, I don't remember exactly. It's some medical reason, having to do with his brain. I'm not joking here. I think he had some kind of brain problem when he was a kid.

Eh, he can explain it more if he wants to.

In the 60's I have to take the NY State Regean test written by hight school teacher and collega profress given each year to some hight school student. They have than study gruide written by than expert on Shakespeare said that
he used the slang term and code words of his time so the people who watch his play could understand him. It would where to take than orignate play by him untranlate you would draw the wrong concloudeion. Take the
televison program Roman and Martin Laught In than show it today alot of
people would be confuse by the slang word word with doudle meaning or mulipmeaning with meaning depence upton context.
The english word HOT have over 37 different mean dependening upton context. If can mean it hot out today. It can mean good that where sloten by than theif. It can mean raidioactive " the reactor fuel rod is hot as it is new not spend. The word hot have than sexulary meaning like I have the hot for Sophic Loren.
I might be wrong about the middle english as I than going by memonry.

I believe the Middle English period is considered (academically) to extend from the 11th century (preceeded by Old English) until the 15th century (followed by Modern English). Shakespeare wrote in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.

I was taught that Nunnery was a code for whorehouse.
