after being away for a while it's hard not to notice the amount of growth some of the threads have taken and i was wondering if it might be possible to include a button that take's you to "first unread post" next to each thread title, so you don't have to go through 2/3 pages of post's before you find the last post that you've read. some other forums i frequent have this feature and i for one find it very helpful in saving time at least, tks.
THat's a very good idea, especially with Notharah spamming every thread on the first page just for the sake of it.
THat's true sometimes - I do go on reply-sprees!. :wink: But you've often filled the entire first page with your name! Besides, I didn't say I didn't - just that you did!

What's wrong with posting a lot? If you've got something useful to say, there's nothing wrong with making heaps of replies. If it's spam, then the situation changes of course.... As for mrnobodie's idea, well, I support it because I also want the same thing.

Uhhh... The feature already exists doesn't it? In the forum index, click on "view posts since last visit" at the top right just above the "lst post" title and above "view your posts" and "view unanswered posts". Then, it'll bring up a new screen of all the topics that have new posts. To actually be taken to the last unread post, click on the little icon: next to the topic name and wallah! There you'll be, at the last, unread posts for that topic. In actual fact, just click on that icon next to any topic and you'll be taken to the first unread post in that topic.
ahh, thank you Mr Underlord for that, now instead of feeling ignored i just feel stupid for not using my eyes and looking....... yeah, this is much better......
