Stupidity, being congenital, surely must be excusable? The stupid person has no choice. He or she is blameless.

Ignorance, being a lack of knowledge, is also excusable in the first instance, as noone can know everything. An ongoing refusal to seek critical knowledge is not as excusable.

 

Sheriff, the first person that I have seen using such a sig was Rosh. How fitting, don't you think so?

 

Rosh is my least favourite user of any board anywhere, so I'm a teensy bit biased, but I agree.

The guy professes (read: harps on noisily about) a dislike for stupidity, but spends most of his time insulting people, presenting complete nonsense as unquestionable fact (eg. MMORPG markets are saturated, noone will be making money out of it), and restating tired comments orginally made by other people. His type of narrow-mindedness is a form of deliberate ignorance I find hard to excuse.

 

Still a little testy about that whole multiplayer thing huh S_F? You should have gone for the kill earlyer and just called him a nancy boy.

 

A little testy. Yes. That describes perfectly how I feel about someone coming in to bat for SP, arguing blue in the face using the medium of "What crack are you smoking ..."/"Can you even read?" and leaving without making a single worthwhile contribution to any thread. Testy, that's the ticket.

Hopefully, the wormhole effect erased all trace of his existence.

 

I think you are being a little harsh there S_F. Did you ever stop to think, maybe Rosh just wanted to be your friend? His question about your preference of Crack Cocaine might have been his best ice breaker. Perhaps if you had answered "I prefer the Blue Lightening Brain Pounder when I can get it. If not then the Black Grease Fire is always reliable." You and He would be fast buds now. Even his other comment could have been read differently, perhaps he or someone close to him was a sufferer of adult illiteracy and he was merely extending an offer of solace to you, which was cruelly, rejected. Remember S_F when we live by the golden rule the world does indeed become a smaller and brighter place.

YeaYea doesn't seem to have been around for a while now. My guess is he got REALLY pissed off with everyone giving him grief and legged it to the DoA boards where he now posts under the guise of Kian and where we now give him more grief!
