For just over a year now, I've been trying to find a steam-powered riverboat, like The African Queen, that could be added to the game. The problem I've constantly run into is that the photos are almost invariably shot at the wrong angle for use in Arcanum, cropped half-way up the hull, are line drawings, or else are too small to be of use.

If, in your web-browsing, you happen to spot a steam-boat picture in the 3/4 top-down style the game uses * and it's 550 pixels wide or larger, would you please post a link for it here?

*It doesn't have to be perfect. I can do a lot with close.

If I can use it - Fantastic!
If not, I thank you for caring enough to try.

Like I said, there is more than one world out there. Any of these have related forums, and related forum nuts who would be happy to help you in selecting the boat(s) you want pictures of, but who has that model built and can take a picture of it.

We need some sort of sailing song for a captain to sing...but only if he captains that boat. And his crew needs to join in.

"I'm the greatest captain of the Queen's Navy...!"
"And your records will stand as proof!"
"Be it galleon or a freighter, I'm an expert navigator-"
    "But you're also a world-class poof!"
"My manner (quite defeat), is mistaken on the street, for a sailor who can pirouette on cue; though despite your point of view, I can thrill a girl or two...but I'd rather get it on with you!"
    "Ha ha ha!"

The boat's going to need a lot more work than what I'd first imagined but check out what else I found:

New for 1885, the Bates Industries Autocarriage (patent pending)-

This is a first try and, as you can see, it's still too bright for the game.
Also, thanks to the way Tarant is laid out, there's really no room in the city for such a machine. It's just too big for the streets and as such, I probably won't use it. :(
